SPITTAL ROCKS
Spittal Rocks on Spittal beach are a miniature landscape wonderland of shapes, patterns, textures and colours. Created by sea erosion they can be a little tricky to find and at times when storms are unhelpful they can be completely covered by sand.
These images were taken on an early morning in September when the tide, weather and lighting conditions were perfect for the subject. Low cross lighting enhanced the textures and colours.
